There is a good chance that you’re waking up again this morning without the entire answer.
When will God provide your need? When will God heal your family member? When will God repair your broken friendship? When will God heal our land?
Friend, the questions don't scare Him, it's our heart + mind that are at risk as they try to carry the weight of the unknown. If your bones and muscles are achy from the load, you're not alone.
I've been distracted and on edge about my girls' school situation and not knowing the plan. I've been on edge about my own schooling in which the line to graduate seems to keep moving further away. These among other things have kept me guessing, but thank the LORD for His word that always grounds me in truth. Check this out...
In Acts 10, God gave Peter a vision, but revealed each step individually over a period of time. A little dazed and confused, Peter kept moving forward in faith, without all of the answers, until God did reveal the whole picture to him.
“While Peter was wondering about the vision...” (vs. 17) “While Peter was still thinking about the vision...” (vs.19)
Imagine if Peter had turned away defeated and frustrated over a lack of answers. We wouldn’t be reading the story of how God expanded His Word into that moment about the forgiveness of sins to ALL people for ALL of time. Emphasis is added because the story is really real and honestly, mind boggling.
If God moved based on our pace, then He would ultimately have to submit to our plan.
Our pace will never be perfect because nothing perfect flows out of flawed + broken vessels. So surrender to a new pace; God's pace. He has already given you exactly what you need for this moment and for the future, all at the same time.
Our job is not to set the pace, but to move without objection in the direction God has called us. Then, we can start running without hindrance. Envision this in our world of unknowns right now. Talk about freedom. Freedom when you don't have all of the answers? Freedom when the plan staring back at you looks like absolute chaos? Yes. Freedom is God's specialty.
Here’s what you need to know; If God has set you in motion, He will complete the task and transformation. He is not a God of half-way promises. And He’s not a God of incomplete work. Your lack of answers is not a lack of God's work, its a continuation of His promise to be faithful to you and to your heart. Don't forget, this goes best when it goes at His pace.
So, take what feels like empty space with a lack of answers and turn that into PRAISE today. God will transform each of your steps into a complete, life-changing story.
No answers? No problem. New pace. New day. Trustworthy God. Freedom is all over it.
With Love,
Em
